The Middle (TV series)

The Middle is an American sitcom about a working-class family living in Indiana and facing the day-to-day struggles of home life, work, and raising children. The series features Frances "Frankie" Heck (Patricia Heaton), a working class, middle-aged, Midwestern woman and her husband Mike (Neil Flynn), who reside in the small fictional town of Orson in Southwest Indiana. They are the parents of three children, Axl (Charlie McDermott), Sue (Eden Sher), and Brick (Atticus Shaffer).

Apparently nothing outstanding or special, after all it doesn’t come to action or adventure almost nowhere in the show, it’s all about the classic entertainment where common day by day problems become funny in the viewer’s eyes who can’t believe that the characters put so much energy and effort in the simplest thing. The show also offers the image of the classic American family, where the two parents are struggling to take care of three children(when they can’t even take care of themselves), each one with a different attitude and a different approach on life, representing the most common types of students.

The show seems trivial and common, and the most amazing part is that it really is the most trivial and common sitcom I’ve ever seen. Despite of that, I have to admit that it has the power to keep his viewers with their eyes on the screen.

Most of the people find themselves in at least one type of character which lights up their curiosity in finding what’s about to happen next. You can’t lose anything by giving it a chance, being up to you to find out if it’s on your taste or not.
